in EvE -

After almost a year of being away from eve I get a weird cheque from CCP without any clues as what its about, a phone call to iceland and a few emails later, it's regarding the banner I had here on ineve (a year ago).

The best about this story is that the JPMorgan Chase bank wants 150 euros in bank charges to pay the cheque of 35 USD.

Ahh.. I finally made it. The Golden fleece, the silver lining. I have become a member of the best alliance in the game. Band Of Brothers. This brings me back to my days in Megawars III, as a member of the Dorsai! . We were hated, were were despised, but we were respected. And those that didnt learn respect felt the boot. This is BOB.

After being a Newbie Security/Special forces Operative for a small Mining Operation [Man1acM1n3rs], and learning which way was up in Eve, I was invited to join Absolute Wraith, a 'pvp' corperation that finally got me into 0.0 After our CEO had a meltdown, some of us we're allowed to join The 9 Gates of Hell Corp. This is the Corperation that taught me all the mechanics of -0.0 We bounced from ISS to EXE to RISE. Then we joined a few other fail-boat alliances. At this time we withdrew from -.0 and alliance warfare. Seasoned and thirsty, our top fighters were recruited by BOB. Black Nova Corp has a heart as Black as the 9 Gates thirst for blood. We will destroy all Goons and Members of the RSF. We will drive them from 0.0!

So i have a dilema, train for recon ships or not to train recon ships. for those of you who know me on battleclinic and in game you will probably know that i dont seem to have a limit to the ships i fly anymore. (there is one).

I am looking for comments on this to what you think i should be training next. obv all my stats are on here so make your thoughts well known :)

I like to give out prizes so whoever can tell me what skill i should buy and train next (and i actually do) i will give 5 mil isk to. If there are multiple entries for the same skill i will distribute it evenly. Ill check this blog again in 6 hours to see if theres any comments.

Right, subject of blog now. I am looking to train recon ships and this will allow me use of all recon ships for 3 races, main thing i want to know is which recon would you all recommend, the only ones i cant fly are gallente.

Make the change to your database ineve.net! This is a plea to encourage those folks wanting to stay on the top, only post the top 10 API verified leaders!!!

Day 5 back into EvE

Sad that nobody I know was online and or willing to go pvp. I embarked on a journey into Pureblind in my (really lame) Nano-Ishtar and let me say this...nanos are the definition of lame but alas...as a good friend said "adapt or die". Little does he know I tried to adapt and well, died regardless.

Using the backdoor into Pureblind though Galente space I saw 4 players in a system npcing (reason I have not said the system name). Anyways, I jump in and do my scannage and lucky me! they did not notice me in system. I warp to a belt and find a Armageddon, Caracal, and Thorax Npcing. I engage the Thorax and he died but took a beating for a while, kudos to him (lame ass nano garbage tbh) and then the Carcal owing true to all Caldari pilots went down like a sack of shit in like 10 sec. The Geddon warped out and I began to pick up the loot (t1 stuff with some t2 mods) while getting beat on by the NPC and to my delight the Geddon warped back! Zomg, I MWD towards him (wtf 3.7k m/s) and quickly get a pt on the geddon. As i nibble away at his armor, he offers me 40 mil to spare him and I do.

My bloodlust quenched and wallet with a widdle lump in it ^o^ I begin to fly home (Orvolle). Now, as a person who has PvP'd and died countless times I knew I should have just kept going but noooo...I had to pick up t2 drones near several wrecks in low sec. SURPRISE (no not really) an Astate, Hugnin and Rapier warp in and bbq me. As I flew home enjoying the crap/jizz/puke water that makes up the innards of my capsule. I am sad and well, remotely angry. Not at the people who owned my face(props to them ;;D) but at myself for being a dummy BUTBUT its all about learning, my lesson - Wrecks near a gate = bad sign.

After spending more time researching armor, I have come to the conclusion that I am thinking more along the line of a Caldari than as an Amarran. It is not my fault, but rather the guilt must rest upon my avatar. He has been used by his Caldari so much over the past 2 years that it is rubbing off on me.

First pieces of my life.

I recently reached 4 months spent in capsule. Shooting up and down, left and right various missions. Now at 5.7mil sp i'm getting smarter and smarted for 20% (and counting) sp is in learnings... first ever skill group to reach 1mil sp. i'm feeling smart...

I recently thought: why not spend some time to quality education if abaddon holds all l4 missions (except 2: AE bonus room and EA 5 of 5 that stil is spooky if fleeted)

I dont know how good plan this is But cosmos seems like good idea to get somewhat different missions. Experiences and.. FACTION STANDINGS... i so love them....

Tho i was 10 weeks old when i reached high enough standings to work for any amarrian and ammatar agent there is (l5 is not included). but i want more.. i want 10.00 standings with not only agents nor corporations (working on 2nd agent and first corp to there) but factions.... faction 10.00 should be interesting to achieve.. would geep me goin.. and hopefully it'll offer me quite many corp/agent max standings before i get there....

Update on cosmos progress in a week... lets see how far i get

I've only just discovered InEve.net, so I thought I'd write something about me and my uselessness.

I am Darina. Jane-of-all-trades. I can do pretty much anything, as long as it is mostly Gallente-based and isn't a tough fight. Mining? Pah, easy. Inventing? With my eyes closed!! Building? I have people who beg me to do it for them!! Fighting? Errr...

I really need to work on my PvP skills - I once ran into a newbie gate camp with my Myr. There were 6 or so T1 frigates, maybe a destroyer too. They ripped my ship out from under me and then widdled all over my pod!! The rascals!! I know the mistakes I made... not activating my guns until my shields had gone might have been one, and not launching my drones at all was probably the biggest of them, but there was no mercy and no pausing in the relentless blasting. It was then that I bawled my eyes out and cried all over local (you can guess the response I got from there) and I nearly didn't play again.

The experience made me tougher. It makes me tougher everytime I repeat the same mistakes. (Tougher, but not smarter!!) I lose every single PvP match that goes all the way, but I am beginning to learn that if I just keep coming with cheap ships, they eventually get bored and (one day, I hope) they might let me win one!! :) Keep your eyes open, because one day I could actually get good enough to win one with my own skills!!

I notice that CCP disables your API during non-payment periods. That is great!

Well, in 40 Days (when Gal Freighter 5 finishes) I'll reactivate and be API verified again.

We undertook a number of operations today:

Patrolled Hed constellation for Amarr militia activity. There was little.
Raided deep into the Bleak Lands. Captured two installations, destroyed a pirate destroyer and pod as well as a militia frigate, at the cost of one of our own frigates (to the pirates).
Secured two installations in Gulmorogod and returned system to an uncontested state.

This was my second experience as a FC, and several members of -EM- were very helpful in providing guidance. It seems that fleets should warp to installations together in case they're camped. The directional scanner would help before warping, though. Tomorrow I should find out how many victory points I was awarded.

Finally, after fighting in a paramilitary organization loosely associated with the Republic, today we were formally accepted as members of the Tribal Liberation Force. Shortly, we'll be running our first patrol for them directly, as opposed to patrols supporting TLF efforts.

Training Electronics skill from level 4 to 5.
